佐渡秀治 OSDN株式会社(2007-) - 代表取締役社長 大学学部生時代の1994年ぐらいからLinuxに関わりだし、1998年にLinux Conferenceとして知られるイベントを京都で開催する。その後、1999年に日本Linux協会を設立するために東奔西走し、その後2年を理事として留まる。 2000年に、Open Source Group Japanを設立する。同じく2000年にVA Linux Systems Japan(株)の設立とともに参画し、2007年8月までマーケティング部部長およびOSDN事業部部長を兼務する。2007年9月にVA Linux社からOSDN事業をスピンアウトさせ、OSDN株式会社を設立し、代表取締役社長に就任する。 OSDNは、Slashdot Japan、SourceForge.JPというサイトを運営していることで知られている。各サイトの一編集者、一管理者としても活動を行っている。最終学歴は、金沢工業大学大学院工学研究科経営工学専攻(修士)。金沢工業大学を修了後、3年間を金沢経済大学(現金沢星稜大学)総合情報センターに所属している。 |
