I like to suggest 2 programs ProGuard
(http://proguard.sourceforge.net)
and
UPX4PC
(http://mobile-sg.com/software/?p=UPX4PC&platform=pc)
ProGuard is for compressing and optimizing java btye
code. It did wonders for my program!
And UPX is a program which compresses dll and exe files
so there much smaller and load faster.
