Project Release Information
While single-player had been neglected during past releases, this version offers significantly improved campaigns, which have been completely reviewed, fixed, and polished, and even translated into several languages.
The AI has been improved and should put up a decent fight in the campaign maps. This release adds a tutorial campaign that introduces the usage of ASC. ASC has support for unlimited undo in the game and Lua scripting (mostly in the map editor).
This release features many new and updated graphics for terrain, objects, and units. Many units now have extensive descriptions, several dialogs were revamped, and a lot of bugs have been fixed.
This release offers a new Campaign, the Kamor Campaign. It can save replays as MPEG-4 movies, has new building and unit functions (such as automatic harvesting)and has new and updated units and buildings using these functions. Portability has been increased and many bugs have been eliminated.
This is a major release with a new graphics engine, completely rewritten user interface, and lots of cool new features. It now also runs on 64-bit systems and big endian systems.
Apart from a movemalus reduction of wreckage
objects, all other changes are fixing minor bugs
or increasing the robustness of ASC.
